I am a woman of Nature, a Mother, a Wife, a Southern European Woman. I am Dada.

In the spring, I look for white snowdrops, yellow fragrant primroses, purple violets, and silvery pussy-cats in the country side meadows near Zagreb. Young blackbirds and nightingales learn they way in the world during that time.

Summer time is time for swallows and wheat fields, and a quiet time for me.

In the fall time, I love foraging in the woods for mushrooms. That is also the time of picking grapes and making fragrant red and white wine in Croatia.

Colors revert to more rudimentary whites, blacks, and an occasional red holy flower in the winter. The swans that migrate through Croatia spend their winter near my home, on Lake Jarun, and we feed them when the winter is the coldest.

I was born and raised in an enchanting little European country of Croatia. After a long career in the engineering field and raising a loving family, I retired. Then suddenly, our lives were turned upside down: my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. Taking care of him became a full-time job for me. It broke my heart to see my husband of 40 years enter the spiraling health decline cycle.

During that time, I turned back to nature and tradition of creating and giving. It was then that I found support by joining a circle of women, my beading circle. We bead together, create new designs, and share our personal stories.

My glass beading work is rooted in the sacred tradition of creating each item with love and a wish for its wearer to feel beautiful, special, loved, and elegant.

My intention is for you to feel happy when you wear it.
My blessings are woven into every single item.
